El-P - Cancer for Cure

Mit dieser Preview bin ich vielleicht etwas früh dran. Aber was solls. Am 22.05.2012 wird kein geringerer als der Producer Mastermind und Ex-Def Jux Kopf El-P über Fat Possum Records sein neues Werk "Cancer for Cure" auf die Welt loslassen. Vorab gibt es schonmal den Track "The full retard" für eure Lauscher. Das ganze ist auch runterziehbar, so gehört sich das. Eine Tracklist ist noch nicht bekannt. Gäste auf der Scheibe werden Killer Mike, Danny Brown, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire und Paul Banks sein.

Letztes Jahr kam dann noch der Track "Drones over BRKLYN", welcher damals schon ein kleiner, aber wichtiger Hinweis auf das neue Album war.

For this pioneering releasing, El-p has chosen to help out a friend in need and is donating all proceeds from the sale of “Rush Over Bklyn” to a fund established for the legendary DJ/producer Brad Forste aka DJ MR DIBBS who is battling liver disease. As hospital bills rise, El-P and Legitmix hope to relieve the burden of family and friends that a half a million-dollar debt can produce.
